Privacy policy

Gather (trygather.ai) publishes Shopify apps, currently PricePulse and Gather Reviews. This policy explains what each app collects when a merchant installs it. None of our apps access, collect or store customer or order data.

Information all our apps store

• Your shop domain, store currency and the store contact email (used for app-related messages, which you can change in each app).
• Your plan and settings within each app.

PricePulse

• Product information: title, image, variant and price of the products you choose to track, read with the read_products permission.
• Competitor data you provide: the competitor product URLs you add and the public prices, titles and stock status read from those pages.

Gather Reviews

• Product information: the products you import reviews for.
• Imported reviews: public reviews from the AliExpress or Amazon listing you choose, including rating, text, date, photos and the reviewer's display name (shown as initials by default). Published reviews are stored in your Shopify store as app data and product metafields.

How we use information

Only to provide each app's features: checking prices, importing and displaying reviews, and sending the alerts or messages you configure. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

Our apps run on Railway (United States). Some features fetch public web pages through proxy or data-collection providers, and alert emails are delivered by an email provider. These providers only process what's needed to deliver the service.

Website analytics

Our website, trygather.ai, uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects standard browser information such as pages viewed, referrer and approximate location. Google Analytics is not used inside the Shopify apps, and we have turned off optional data sharing with Google.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall an app, its background activity stops immediately. All data that app holds for your store is permanently deleted when Shopify sends the shop data-erasure request (48 hours after uninstall). Reviews already written into your store's product data can be removed from within the app before uninstalling.
